What is it like studying english literature at a level compared to GCSE

I love english lit but I am worried if I pick it for A level it won't be the same and I won't like it and perhaps not do well.

I did lit as GCSE and I'm just completing my AS year with the subject. It's not massively different, if you love it now, you'll love it at AS and A Level. It still involves reading books and plays and analysing them, it's just in more depth and there is a greater consideration of the authorial and dramatic methods used.
