Guys for the validation change, the question only asked to validate that row was entered correctly (they even had it in bold), will you lose marks for also validating column?

You wont lose marks for doing more than expected. If you did row then thats fine.

People editing the paper with nonsense, please stop that's dead bant; BTW Did everyone have to print out the work within the time? How is that fair, esp if it tells us the allocated time for each section nd then the invigilators are like leave 10 mins at the end for print like NAH FAM this is a 2 hour paper im writing in 90 mins thanku.

Yep same here. I mean, I understand if they want a paper copy of everyone's work, but marking is dealt with (at least mostly) online in 2016, especially for a bloody computer science exam, so either get the invigilators to print out everyone's work after the time is up or add an extra 10 minutes onto the exam. It's also easier to make sure people have the same amount of time if you let the invigilators deal with printouts because you can black out everyone's screens at the same time (e.g. our school uses Impero), rather than letting someone sneakily pressing print 30 seconds after time is up (who can blame them, when the penalty for not printing out before the whim of an invigilator calling time up is implied to be a 0 for the paper).

Exactly, there were so many other options than making the students printing within the time, AQA have just not thought everything through :s-smilie:
