Curley's wife - referred to as Curley's wife, we see no description of her real name; her identity
This shows the role of women throughout their times treated as an object, no name no personality just for comfort. Women were often shown then to be hookers who only there job was to pleasure there man, and make sure they were happy rather than please themselves. They were often shown to be trophies, to be there mans possessions throughout the book, on how everyone even Lennie looks up to see how beautiful Curley's wife is. A bit like today's society, unfortunately men and women have to strip down to be shown as attractive you could mention that could be a moral of the story and has times changed since then?

Puns and jokes - Technical term to suggest to bump your grade, noting English terms is great within achieving good grades as it shows your understanding. All the men in the book make sexual puns about women, so it shows that it was fine to treat women like that back then that again they are worthless and only used fo sexual desires, for the men.
Curleys hand in vaseline to help his sexual desire for her - could show that Curley's wife is only with him to find pleasure and just want someone to love her - look at her language and how she reacts - quotations in the book help.
