Freshers whilst off-campus?

Hi,

i've had to get accommodation off-campus (albeit only a 10 min walk away)

What should I do about getting to freshers? and how can i find people to go with?

Welcome Week has loads of events for you to get settled into life at NTU and meet loads of other freshers. The societies and sports fairs are a great opportunity to meet people; the Students' Union runs over 80 societies, covering a huge range of passions and interests, so there's something for everyone to get involved in!

It can be a bit daunting at the start but just remember that everyone is in the same boat and will be looking to make friends as well.

The Not Living in Halls Facebook Group could also be helpful for finding fellow students in a similar situation to you.
