Thinking of getting a Harry Potter tattoo...

erm i think having a harry potter tattoo is okay.
i was thinking of getting one too. because it's been my childhood. so the tattoo would actually represent something that's special to me.
as i grew up with harry potter and when as soon as it all finished i turned 18 so now i actually feel like it was my childhood.

so why not?

Personally, if I were ever to get a Harry Potter tattoo (not planning on it at the moment) I'd definitely get the Deathly Hallows symbol, probably on my wrist.
Hallows.png

- Because it is actually a beautiful symbol, it's discrete, it does have the meaning of Harry Potter, but it also has the meaning of the Tale of the Three Brothers, so it would also be a reminder to not be too greedy, foolish, or thirsty for power - which I think are all great ideals to carry with you in life.

Edit - the image looks weird, but if you click on it it shows up properly.

I want the same symbol on my ankle for the same reasons
but nothing tooo big or silly

I've been meaning to get one as well. But I'm kind of afraid of the pain, so I've been putting it off quite a bit! I might go for it in the summer, we'll see!
I think that particular tattoo idea is cute but I have to see I've seen quite many similar to it! But if you're not worried about that, I'd say go for it

As much as I admire the Baroness, tattoos aren't really my thing.

The second one is benefits-tastic. Visible tattoos decrease employability in most jobs.

I know that if I were interviewing, and one candidate had a tattoo of a childrens book on them, I'd be judging them from the word go.
i was actually considering getting a harry potter tattoo for my 17th birthday. i was gonna get the Rowenna ravenclaw's quote "wit without measure is man's greatest treasure" i've always loved that quote and i really want to get it on the right side of my ribcage. still thinking of getting it. i will probably get it on my 18th birthday with one or 2 edgar allan poe and W H Auden quotes (My favourite poets)

That's a mighty fine shame. Would have been a beautiful tattoo
