The way I understand it, you just need an average of 80%+, with 90% in your second year. So even if you got a B in one module, if you got an A in your AS overall, you can still get an A*. That's what I've been told, anyway.

No because you have an average of more than 80%.

you need 80% average across all your modules and 90% in your A2 modules for an A*. so yes, it's definitely possible.
