Yes most universities do not accept any other forms like key skills :smile:

Unless they say so, anything counts! If they say "must come from A-levels", which some do, then obviously they don't count. Which particular qualifications were you looking at?

From what I remember it's A level or equivilant. Some Universities will accept AS grades too. Depends on what their entry requirements are. I think you should check with the university you're looking to study at. All can be checked on UCAS I think.
If they ask for UCAS points, you can get them any way you like. You only have to get specific A level grades if your offer explicitly says you need to.

I think you'd have to make the unis you're applying to aware of the fact you had to learn to read and write Urdu the same way as you did a 2nd language, and prove this, as it's not a language that's generally taught to A level.
