gcse aqa english language!

Hello,
My teacher says 20% is speaking and listening, 20% coursework (shakespeare, original writing, media and oliver twist) and paper 1 and paper 2 exams are worth 60%. My speaking and listening, I think, is a high grade B, and my written coursework is a good (mid) grade A. I want an A* so would anyone actually know a real figure of what the minimum amount of marks I can lose in the exams is - to get an A*?

I would appreciate any help

It is not possible to say because grade boundaries change slightly each year. They are not set until the exam papers have been marked. This is to ensure fairness to all candidates compared to previous years. It also depends on the associated mark for each aspect of the course. It is difficult to work this out on the basis of approximate grades alone. If you can post the additional information, I will be able to give you an approximation.
