Essay help needed - religious studies (A2 level, Unit 8)

Okay so I am doing A2 level religious studies. I'm doing Unit 8: Islam: Law, Tradition and Practice.

I have an essay due for 8th period (half 2) today and I was wondering if I could get some help with this.

Essay Title:

Comment on the claim that Shia Islam is so distinctive that it is a different religion.

In this, I must include an introduction, points to agree with this statement, points to disagree with this statement and then a conclusion.

I have completed the introduction and points to agree with the statement.

However, I need a few different points to disagree with this statement. I'm not trying to start a religious debate or anything

I'm quite simply asking: Why do you think Shiaism is not so distinctive that it is a different religion?

I have a few points, but nothing I can really make paragraphs about.

- haven't got rid of original religion, keep mainstream religion
- fundamentals are still there
- difference depends on cultural background
etc

Any help? I would be very grateful! :smile:
