So this is true? DMU have purchased more student accommodation!?

The SU President mentioned this in a meeting at beginning of the week and nobody believed him.

Yep. I've no idea, but my friends only found out when asking to re-apply again. Suddenly we're all out of place to live x_________________________________x;

EDIT: I was talking about applying for places in Oadby next year. It seems that I can apply for my room again in John Foster.

isnt this a good thing? means that when us scabby first year students move in were gonna have more accomodation.

Yeah. It's good, but I was hoping to live with my 3rd year Leicester university friends. Anyhow enjoy! Filbert Village is an expensive but nice place to be :biggrin:

At least upcoming 2010 students willhave accommodation unlike the fiasco that happened at the beginning of the academic year.

I'm hardly surprised if this is indeed the case. Considering its location, it was never really suitable for UoL students. A shame though, considering the troubles UoL had in 2008 finding accommodation for first years...
