FULL scholorships?

i heard some universities offer FULL scholarships and pay for all tuition for al foriegn students?

does anyone have any more info regarding scholarships and applying for them for foriegn students?

Some universities do offer full scholarships yes
However most scholrships are offered to budding students that the univeristy cannot really afford to miss out on e.g. a sports person who is almost guaranteed to play for a domestic/national sports team etc etc

So unless you've got brains like bill gates, dance moves like jacko or can dribble a ball like Michael Jordan, then I have serious doubts whether you would be able to gain a scholarship at that, never mind a full shorlarship.

On the other hand, you may be able to gain financial aid from a few universities (not publc ones), and some universities such as princeton offer needs blind financial aid, which is basically where they dont look are your background or it doesn;t harm your chances of admission if your require financial aid

Some Universities also offer scholarships in acting and music/choir. Its worth contacting the relevent universities for more information.

If you're great at football (soccer), especially for men, rugby (men & women) or field hockey (mainly women), you may have a shot a full ride to play. Many men's football teams are full of international players. If you're willing to go to a division II school, you just may have a shot.

If you do your research, you'll know where to look. Collegeboards.com allows you to conduct an advance search that will provide a listing of unis with you desired major, sport, SAT scores, funding, and so on.

College Board's FUND FINDER
The College Board's FUND FINDER scholarship database, also known as ExPAN Scholarship Search, lists scholarships and other types of financial aid programs from 3,300 national, state, public and private sources. The database is updated annually.

Wintergreen/Orchard House Database
Most other sites that offer a free scholarship search do not compile their own database, like the sites listed above do, but instead license the Wintergreen/Orchard House (WOH) scholarship database. Although the WOH database is updated quarterly, most of the sites that license it update their copy only once a year. Most of the sites also implement their own engine for searching the database, with varying degrees of tightness in the match. Most offer a very loose match, presumably because it means they initially can claim to provide more matching awards, even if those awards don't really match the student's profile. The WOH database lists awards from 1,570 sponsors.
