Hey guys I recently applyed to a university and the admissions tutor said I should get an offer letter in the mail in the near future - so here it goes main question where I look stupid.

An official letter where they formally state that they are giving you an offer along with the conditions you need to make the offer. It's usually considered a good thing to receive!
