Definite no to white trainers. No to trainers at all....Trainers belong in a gym or a track, not going out. But that's just me. :-)

A nice tracksuit always does the job. Make sure the trainers are brilliant white though are you won't get the desired appreciation.

Shirt (undo the first button!) and jeans...erm... dunno about shoes. I must pay more attention in the future. Don't wear a round neck t-shirt if you're fat- not saying that you are or anything, but these make well fed tummies particularly obvious.

Also, I saw this guy that really caught my eye when I was waiting for a train. He was in his 20s, had a beautifully tailored pinstripe brown suit on, complete with a matching brown waistcoat, tie, cream shirt and brown leather shoes. It looked AMAZING.
