Paper 1 is non-calculator
Paper 2 is with calculator

If you have any questions, I'm also doing Maths SL and am an IB senior

Good Luck!

TI-84 Plus is fine, but you'll be required to clear the memory on your calculator before the exam.
Also, paper 1 is non-calculator.

can you take two calculators into the exam as I'm thinking of taking the CASIO fx-83MS since in some calculations it is easier to work with?

Yes, two calculators are allowed. Good luck, just a few days to go
Yup, calculators are only allowed in Paper 2. The reason some exams say that you are allowed them is because up until 2008, both papers required calculators. So that's probably why your teacher was confused

Yess that's super!
Also do you know whether we're allowed coloured(red, green, pink etc) biros?
The rules state that highlighters and gel pens are not permitted.
Apparently, Maths Studies SL students are allowed to have their calculators for both papers.

How unfair is that?
