Help - BTEC Points Issue?

Im on a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners Software Development course and i got my results for year 1 which was

Grade UCAS Points BTEC Points
Distinction 120 138

I was just wondering how are the BTEC points added up?

the maximum number of points for year 1 you could get is 162 points - 9 distinctions.

Overall grade distinction for year 1. what is the lowest amount of BTEC points you could get but still achieve Grade Distinction in year 1?
