No-one will care, it isn't high school. If you wear them with jeans, I don't see what the problem would be. Smart casual - no problem with that. Better than the usual sweatpants + male ugg combo that seems to be the current norm for guys at my uni.

Just white? Now I could understand checkered or whatever but plain white shirts? I don't know, to be honest. It seems a bit odd.
