Cardiff University applicants thread!

Well I might go into one of the specialist routes, but I'll decide that when I'm on the course aha. They let you switch around. And I'm sure you'll do fine Let me know how you get on.

I haven't had an offer yet, got an acknowledgement though. Hoping to get an offer within the next couple of weeks.

My references aren´t still written so I can not send it off Have you got any offers from other universities? Yes, they do let you switch around, but I don´t think there is such a big difference among the courses.

Aha I know your pain, I had to wait 5 weeks to get my references done. And I've got a offer from Nottingham Trent, but that's it.

Just got a conditional offer from Cardiff, which is my preferred uni, so I'm really happy!

Congrats . My cousin's girlfriend does Psychology at Cardiff, she's on her placement at the moment.

She's really enjoying it! Both the course and her placement. She's working in a hospital in Portsmouth, doing something related to clinical psychology I think .

That sounds pretty cool. Plymouth is quite a distance from Cardiff, I assume there was help in finding accomodation (though I understand if you don't have a clue)?

Well actually she's staying with some of my cousin's family (on the other side of the family) who happen to live down there, so she was very lucky having that. I expect the university would help people find accommodation if they needed to though.
