I have to apply for medicine today, and I am stuck between Kent and Cardiff. My UCAT Score is 2580.Kent has a cut-off at 2470 Cardiff has a rank systemKent doesn't have a graduate year(which would mean they would give more support to students)Cardiff is ranked 17 I have only been to one open evening which includes Kent, so I am really unsure.

Kent - you've been there and know you UCAT is OK.
If you genuinely can't decide then flip a coin

Often that will make you realise you do actually have a preference
Which other schools are you applying to?

Hi there,

Current Cardiff Uni student here!

Can't speak too much about the medicine side but I also applied to Cardiff and Kent. I've lived in both areas and Cardiff as a city is so much more connected, it's so much bigger and easier to meet people in my experience. There is so much more to do in Cardiff and it's one of the most affordable student cities. Ultimately they're both great universities and beautiful places to live.

Best of luck
