Help about GCSE requirements for uni needed!

I have no idea if this is the right place to post this...

Basically, most of the unis I'm applying for say they require an A for GCSE Maths, but don't say anything about the A-Level. The thing is, I've got a B at IGCSE Maths, but I'm doing the A-Level - B at AS, and predicted B for A2. Does my lack of A at GCSE mean I'll be rejected? This is important because I could resit the GCSE this year, will I need to?

Sorry didn't check this, it's Economics with French, and these requirements are for Nottingham or Durham.

I'd email them, a B at A2 is more impressive than an A at GCSE. If not then you could likely resit it in June.

I think the GCSE reqs generally refer to candidates not offering the subject at A-Level :smile:

That's what I thought, but otherwise I risk getting rejected from all the unis I actually want to go to... :eek:

Yeah apparently it's not a problem as the A-level trumps the GCSE, but I'm still worried they'll choose someone over me who has an A at GCSE, which makes me think I should retake it anyway.
