Do you use the internet to search for revision techniques?

Do you use the internet to find different methods for revision, like techniques or timetables? Can you recommend any generic sites that offer good information?
Getrevising.co.uk is good for timetables. It let's you enter in the dates of your exam and makes a timetable for you.

As for revision tips, I've googled some and then ended up on the internet for hours so... I wouldn't google them. The best thing to do is start even if you don't think you have a clue how to revise. You'll find a method eventually! :teehee:

Nope, just porn.

Our school made us these amazing revision timetables, it went a bit like this:

Monday: revise English
Tuesday: revise maths

etc, we all credited our results to the school's fantastic planning abilities.

Techniques... Whatever suits you best I guess. I often wrote down the stuff, recorded myself saying it and then listened to it. I also did something where I divided a page into sections, labelled them 1, 2 etc and it just became easier to remember what was where and what it said. Never used any sites for techniques really.

Thanks for your help.

I'm also setting up a blog to help people out with this kind of stuff, thats PARTLY why I'm asking. I'm also asking for my own knowledge. When I have more info on the blog I hope to put it up here, on in my signature etc.

lol, I get what you mean. But I meant on actual specifics like types of revision techniques (mind maps etc), do you utilise them and find them helpful, do you look at a range of websites or use just one etc.
