from what i remember my dance teacher saying, you do for one board but not the other, i think it's RAD that you do and not IDTA but i'm not sure
You do for RAD, but not any other Ballet syllabus. I think it's around 60 points for Grade 7 and above. And grade 7 is equivalent to an A-level. Which I think is pretty cool =) I love telling peeps I have an a level in classical ballet, lol.

Do you get UCAS points for dance exams e.g RAD ballet?

I don't think so, sorry :frown:
I'm not surprised IDTA isn't included.

Good to know my ISTD exams are, not that I'll ever use them for UCAS points but still!

These are the examining bodies who qualify for UCAS points:

1. British Ballet Organization www.bbo.org.uk
2. British Theatre Dance Association www.btda.org.uk
3. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing www.istd.org/home
4. Royal Academy of Dance www.rad.org.uk

sometimes they won't be accepted as part of your offer though - along with music exams etc. unless your offer is for some kind of arts, most unis will ask for either grades or X number of points in 3 a-levels etc (or eq)
