Amalgam fillings or fluoride extended project?

I'm doing an extended project and I'm starting it now and I've made a few notes on problems associated with fillings and mercury and whether water should be fluorinated so I will have to something to talk about in my ps for dentistry hopefully!!! I'm really interested in both topics and I'm not sure which one to do which do you think I would be able to write the most about?

Not sure if you'd be able to write between 6000-8000 words on fillings without waffling on a bit.

How about "retrograde resorption", essentially why and how braces work. Then you could go on to talk about the composition of the brace, why it's good at its job -property wise. etc etc

Extended project is only 5000 max I think. I was thinking of maybe talking about mercury itself and then about all the conditions associated with mercury. But that does sound interesting about the braces!
