They are humans.

I feel uncomfortable around them.
Indifferent.
They are a bit like Dementors...

Not much, but from a scientific viewpoint, fascination. I've watched a lot of documentaries on it in my life and I studied the neuro and genetics behind it this year. High-functioning autism is very interesting.

My brother is Autistic... I fail to see the connection between him and Dementors...
I have Asperger's Syndrome, but it's part of a spectrum; some people with it have it more severely than others. In my case, it is very mild in that if you started a conversation with me, you probably wouldn't really notice that I have Asperger's.

I never had a diagnosis but I remember my parents telling me I have a mild form of this disorder. I frequently look at the symptoms and have related to most of them. I've mentioned it when I made my university applications just so they knew.

I often wish I was a little better off in this aspect, as in socialising and communicating I mean, but it's nothing I haven't been completely brought to a downer by. Whatever opportunities I have to meet with friends and talk I will endeavour to take and improve my communicating and such.

No, I've been alright living with it really.

People are just people. End of. I certainly fall into the Asperger's side rather than the neurotypical side...
I fear for my life.

Haha, no problem.

PM me but I think you need a Nature subscription. There are 2 main ones I have in mind; a really elegant theoretical one, and one which focusses on the molecular biology behind autism and its relation to TSC.

if it does, so be it. Nobody has to accommodate others.

No.

But if you are making the connection I think you are then you're being extremely offensive to not only Autistic people but to me as well if you are implying I'm Autistic and therefore stupid.

Examining what a dementor does I would have to say that you probably better fit the description of a 'Joy sucking and life destroying monster' towards Autistic or people with Aspergers than they do to you.
They're people
