Just wondering when everyone applied and what date did they reply?

I applied on the 15th of October, York St John was the first to reply and offer me an interview on the 9th of November but i had an important business studies exam so declined to next. 2 fridays ago gloucestershire invited me for an interview. Still trying to think about the object and what on earth to talk about for 5 minutes. When Im nervous i tend to babble and waffle so im nervous about doing that in the individual interview!!

I applied about a week after you and have only heard from YSJ so far. About the object thing don't panic yourself! My friend has just qualified as a primary teacher so i went to talk to her about interviews today and in her interviews it was usually a pebble or stone or twig or somthing that she got given and they had to discuss in groups what you could do with it in a classroom so showing your creativity really. So things like how could you use it in art or science etc

Ah cool ok - I live in the middle east - Bahrain to be exact, but dont believe everything you hear about it on the news! My family all are about 20 minutes away from York and went up in the summer. I guess were all the same with why we chose primary education. I picked the smaller campuses that have nice buildings with character with a smaller city... complete polar opposites to my brother who liked the massive campuses in the largest cities! Hes doing Maths at Leeds.... What are you doing for a levels? I do business geography and drama and an AS C in Maths  Im so happy to talk to people that have the same intrest and dream!

Quite far away then! York's a lovley place  I've mainly applied to places quite far away but only bcause i loved the places and uni's themselves, distance doesn't really bother me as long as its simple enough to get home if i need to :P I do double health and social care and geography too

Ah I'm not applying this year, I applied last year and I'm now in my first year. It's a lovely little Uni I absolutely love it! I'm doing Early Years too but you'll be interviewed together as I had junior years people in my same interview group back in March! I found it to be one of the easiest interviews of all of mine too

Hi all. I have just finished my foundation degree working with children. Have applied to do the ba qts top up (2 years) at southampton uni. I have interview in a couple of weeks, during which i need to give a 5 min presentation on current educational debate. Really unsure of what to discuss. Wanted to talk about Rights, Respect and Responsibilty, but don't know if this can be classed as current educational debate??? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
