... I was moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, and by then it was nothing but blinding. The shadows betray you because they belong to me!

These are more my favourite book quotes, but they're in the films so:
'If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more' said by Mr Knightly in Emma.
And my other favourite Emma quote is 'We are not so much brother and sister as to make it improper,'...'Brother and sister? No indeed'
And then from 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall'- 'I would rather have your friendship than the love of any other woman in the world' I want someone to say this to me!
