lol poor show tonight tbh, nothing to show for this except from a **** heap hangover. And yesterday i was hung over because Friday i did the ale festival thing then ended up in riverside for some reason (well, at least there were pre-pubescent freshers to lol at)
Gotta stop spending so much money, and fck that drinks offer machine in Bar Blanc, it ****s me over every time , i swear i have spent 20 quid tonight and the girl i was trying to **** only spent 2 quid.
And minger flatmate tried to "frontal hug" me today, thats what i call it because its a hug but really an attempt to feel some dick. Nice little ego booster but unfortunately i would just rather not.
Anyway, we're having a flat party throughout the whole building (all the flats we know) on Friday, come and hit on some sluts or something. And bring some booze if you do.

People are advised not to wear expensive jewellery in poor countries to reduce the chances that they are targeted for robbery. People are advised not to advertise that there is no-one in their house when they are away on holiday etc. as to not increase their chances of being broken into. But if we advise women that wearing skimpy clothes may increase their chances of being sexually assaulted, then there is outrage?
If it appears that females who are wearing short skirts are being targeted, or are more likely to be sexually assaulted, then they bloody well deserve to know this information! If I wear Celtic colours in a Rangers part of Glasgow I'm much more likely to get twatted than if I dress neutrally. Even though I can legally and morally wear what I want, I still deserve to know this, for my own safety.
If I had a daughter and discovered that there were people trying to block the message that girls who dress certain ways are more likely to be targeted then I'd be outraged.

It offends people because of the implicit notion that if you dress a certain way you're in some way responsible for the rape, which on a psychological level is reasonable. But offending people is considered by rational people a less serious thing than rape, so if we offend one person but save one from rape, that's a good day. In the world of the professionally offended neo-feminist protestors it's the other way round.

As a man, I don't "stop" rape when I don't rape, because rape was never going to happen and you can't stop something that's never going to happen. Feminists can't understand that rape was never going to happen. They seem to assume that if I didn't rape someone it's because I was about to but then thought "no wait, I'm stronger than this" or something. God I hate these people.
I don't have a daughter but I do have a sister around the age where she will need to start being aware of this stuff and yes, obviously it's an outrage that these people are demonising people who give girls like her sensible advice.
edit: I realise the slight irony of me pointing out that preventing rape is more important that not offending people, and then being offended by an anti-rape poster. The problem is the poster targets moderates by definition - it relies on the premise that stopping rape is a good thing. But rapists don't fall into a normal distribution of a few men not raping at all, most men raping a bit and a few men raping a lot. It's a power curve of a few men doing all the raping. This is even by the feminist claims that more people than we think are rapists (~1/20). So the moderates the poster targets are already not rapists. They're people like me who will be offended if they understand the poster and possibly converted to the protesters' ridiculous cause if they are dumb enough not to. And in any case, I don't want the posters banned or even taken down or anything. I just think they show the people who write them to be pricks.
