yeh i'm just so worried that the year abroad will be worse than this. In your first year, did it gradually get better for you or was it literally sudden over christmas?

Sorry only just seen this... I would say it was gradual but I didn't really notice, it was just no longer a problem. How are you now? :smile:

Hi I was miserable the whole first year of uni. Suddenly, in the second year everything improved due to a number of things happening. I don't feel the need to go home anymore and at the beginning of uni I was going home every couple of weeks. It takes a while but you will get used to it. I know how you're feeling :frown:
