ucl orchestras/choirs

hiya, i read on the ucl website that you have to audition in order to be part of the ucl orchestra and chamber choirs? although this is good, i was wondering if anyone knows what sort of standard you would have to be? i havent actually got an offer (yet........ :wink:

) but if i couldnt be part of the orchestras and stuff, i dont think i would wanna go!!

Well I never tried out for it because I didn't think I was good enough :frown:

But next year I think I might. What do you play? I'd imagine that so long as you're competant you can play...

The UCL chorus is open to anybody, which is amazing because they sound really good!

it depends on what you play... things like flutes i should imagine grade 7/8ish.. for violin etc probably alot less!

well i play viola and im at grade 7/8 standard, sooo i should be alright really (ucl has no music dept so does that mean there arent people who are reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good and lots of them? :P ) i cant wait to get an offer.
i'll probably get rejected now :P
