Gambling! I have been gambling over last 10 years and have done two masters degrees in Russia and in UK. I have to admit I am a big risk-taker.

I fully plan on paying for it by being Scottish.

I really am fortunate...

Is this irony? Fortunate - being Scottish? Interesting....
Loan and lots of work, roughly working 48 weeks a year and doing extra one off things.

Grants don't have to be paid back.

What if you leave the uni half way? dropped out?
1. I don't pay any fees - the Scottish Government does.
2. I have a part time job 15hours - £100 a week plus commission
3. You pay your loan back after you earn over £15,000 a year or £21,000 for you.
4. I get no support from my parents. SAAS is part bursary, part loan for me.

Would you care to explain with a reason that isn't an ad hominem?

ad hominem?

That word is back again, it seems to follow people who like to think they are intelligent by using "five dollar words". It’s like an unseen plague.
Now back to the topic.

Student finance, working in the summer/charismas hopefully a part time job and then my savings.

Hopefully I wont have to touch my savings. They are to put towards a 5 axis CNC machine / a unit when I leave uni. So I can start my business up!

In reference to "ad hominem"

Firstly I had to learn it for certain A level's, I didn't learn it to sound intelligent.

Secondly what word would you replace it with especially bearing in mind that ad hominem is a word that is intended for the situation, so it is the perfect match for the sentence but none the less lets see what word you would use?

"Would you care to explain with a reason that isn't an [insert word here]?"
