HELP!Royal Holloway Vs University for the Creative Arts(UCA)

Hi everyone

I love film and I really want to study film at uk, but I don't know how to choose those 2 uni.

Other 4 uni that I applied:

1.The Arts University College at Bournemouth
Film Production
-No comment, just for this its practice

2.Edinburgh College of Art
Film & television
-famous college, really lovely city

3.Kingston University
Filmmaking BA(Hons)
-just for insurance

4.University of Sussex
Media Practice BA
-Top10 media in uk

So, let's move to:

Royal Holloway
Media Art

University for the Creative Arts(UCA)Farnham
Film Production

For geography:
1.Royal Holloway actually not in London, 40min far from, and it is a REALLY boring town.
2.I don't know about UCA , but it sound like a some town too...

For study:
1.Royal Holloway has really good reputation
2.UCA is a NEW uni, so did anyone know how does its Learning Atmosphere?

I really want to learn something of the film but not the graduation certificate, so did anyone know about those 2 uni?

The apply time is limited, please help T.T

Really appreciate!!

Why not the other four, I'd say the best one is Edinburgh to be honest, I'm going to Royal Holloway - Media Arts but I'd say Edinburgh has a better course, I wasn't able to apply as I hadn't done Art A Level.
Dear SpIritisTz

This is Kostas a mature student in Film Production Course at University for the Creative Arts Farnham.

I will give you the details about the course through my personal experience.
First of all yes Farnham is a bit quiet. It is a lovely and beautiful town, but there isn't any club life if you are looking for that.
We do have a bar at the Student Union which is getting better by the year but don't expect London Fabric
Now of to the course. The course is called Film Production so its one of the few courses that actually teach you how to do film
And when I say film I mean actual film not just digital .You will be taught about all kinds of aspects of film
Script, sound, camera, production, production design, direction and all kinds of aspects by workshops, personal research and of course films you have to prepare.
The tutors are excellent ant spot on in giving you the push to learn and practise but don’t expect them to hold your hand in every turn, you need to make your decisions and study a lot.

Most work in the course is Team based which apart from teaching you film stuff will teach you something equally important, working with other people. That is equally important in the production of the film as all other aspects.
The equipment here is just excellent with quick access to all the equipment (heard some unis you have to apply 3 weeks before) here you can do it quickly; the equipment is in good shape and updated. The most important thing about University for the Creative Arts though is that if you are really interested in the course, it gives you the perfect place to study; you have plenty of time, plenty of creative people and plenty of thing s to get involved with.
Myself I have worked in films, advertisements, even photography videos and have learned a lot.

I will also provide you with the brief breakdown of the course as it is now

1st year one digital portrait film, one 16mm black and white film, excellent theory and script units as well as film analysis unit
2nd year 1 digital documentary and one super 16 mm film alongside theory , a personal short film and your specialisation project(choose between direction, script etc)
3rd year 2 films (you choose format) dissertation and professional development

You can find all this information on the following webpage
http://ucreative.ac.uk/ba-film-production

The first year was difficult due to the town and the amount of group work, but afterwards the course has proven excellent with the progress made in the first year making sense afterwards. By looking around the other courses I feel I made the perfect choice. Ps the accommodation is excellent.
