Driving lessons, is this really bad progress?

I've done 24 hours driving that 1 hour a week now, Atm I'm still learning on the roundabouts and parking as i always chicken out lol but I'm getting there slowly, Also I'm doing Mock test to see where i stand but failed twice coz i was having a bad day which didn't help. I failed on 8 different things so I'm going to wait for another 2-3 months which should give me a nuff time to learn more and i would end up doing about 35 hours but don't want to waste £62 knowing i'm going to fail on those 8 things. Better to wait still you feel 100% ready and knowing your doing it rite.

Hi,
I'm 70+ now and have returned to driving lessons after a 50-year gap and five failed tests. I'm booked to sit my next test in a couple of weeks, but I'm not feeling all that confident. Any opinions, please?

Have you been on youtube.com they have really good video tips on how to pass first time. worth taking a look.
