Learning to drive / advice?

How different are driving lessons to an intensive course?

20 hours of lessons are £130 cheaper than a 20 hour course. It just sounds to me like a course is several hours a day instead. Is it worth it?

A lot of this will really depend if you can get the best value from the intensive time

With 'normal' 1-2 hour lessons 1 or 2 times a week you get a good amount of time to unwind and rerun through what you did and might do differently - and obv this is free. If you're doing 5-7 hours or basically making a few days of it, that's a lot more to take home and process it before getting straight back up to it the next day.

Also the issue that you're stuck paying and learning in bulk - if you're having a bad day, rough sleep, bad weather or getting stressed or frustrated with you're driving etc, you might not get the full value for that day and you're stuck out there, again you aren't getting that time to decompress and come back fresh when the mistakes build up.
