Don't try to give it up all at once, you'll fail - will power is finite for everyone. Instead, just try to scale it back. If you're masturbating 5 times a day at the moment, on Monday switch to 4 times a day, and two weeks later reduce it again to 3 times a day, and then to two times. After that you can decide whether you want to continue to reduce it to either a limit of once a day, once a week, or get rid of it altogether. Depending on how far you take it, you might want to extend the period of time for adaptation - e.g. spend 4 weeks instead of two weeks adjusting to only once a day.

Once you decide your goal, just cut it down gradually. If you try too much at once you will fail in your weaker moments, so just take it steady, reducing your limit every so often. All the best with it.
Keep you're self occupied. Been there done that. I don't watch porn anymore. If you are horny just have a ****. Seems like you've probably done so much porn you're going to struggle to even get it hard. Let alone ejaculate. You're probably going to have to quit for a few weeks.

EDIT: A good motivation is there is a direct link between you're performance with a girl and the amount of porn you watch. The more porn you watch the less you're women can satisfy you.

Back in my prime I had to switch to lefty for a while when I injured my right arm (not through masturbation). For a seasoned pro it isn't a difficult switch. You pick things up things faster out of necessity

Thank you so much for your advice but I think that I'll masturbate once in a day, while watching porn, for the next 6 months. Furthermore, does this lead to memory problems. Can someone confirm that? How does masturbation affect memory? Please can confirm this for me.

there's reguarly and there's 4-5 times a day like in the OP, and he's identified it as a problem.

when i say it's surprisingly easy to break i don't mean masturbating in general, i mean the chronic masturbation and going for it when not even horny, just bored. it's surprisingly easy because after only a few days off you get the urge less. speaking as a guy that used to jack it 3-4 times a day i felt my mood was much better after stopping for a bit

One thing that I would stress is it's not really entirely your fault.
A really good website to look at and read the articles on would be yourbrainonporn.com
It explains alot of things about how a porn addiction is developed and how and why it becomes so hard to quit or cut back. if i'm not mistaken there are articles on the website that explain ways of cutting back and eventually giving up porn, which will help you greatly in the future in terms of being able to manage the addiction and being able to sustain a healthy relationship in the future.

I saw your second post with you saying that you'll masturbate once a day watching porn, but one of the biggest problems with that is that you are reinforcing the addiction by constantly giving it sustenance, and reinforcing the reliance on porn. Please have a read of the website, it's helped someone close to me understand his own addiction and come back from it.
