failed maths

Hi
I'm 23 and I have taken GCSEs and have got the results all above a C apart from Maths I got a D. :frown:

I was going to study A levels now. Is there much point?
If I don't have a C in maths i won't meet the entry requirements for uni. Shall I just forget it, or keep trying?

The thing is I started a new job so don't have time to re take the maths exam.
Look at the Open University. You dont need ANY qualifications, can study whilst working and pick & choose a whole range of course units to make uup a degree. You can even just do a Certficate or Diploma. Or just a single Uni level Unit. See http://www.open-university.co.uk/what-can-i-study.php#anc1

If you aren't keen on doing a whole degree like this, then some conventional Unis will accept a completed OU Unit for degree admissions (check with your preferred Uni that they will accept what you intend to study first!). This also would give you an idea of if you are up to studying at this level and give you a good academic reference (OU Tutor) for any subsequent UCAS application.
