Depends what you mean by 'basic knowledge'?

"I can guarantee a C in any test paper" kind of basic knowledge.

If it's a high C then you can give it a final few touches and reach the B grade and hope that exam is easy and so hopefully you can get an A.

The best thing to do now is just keep doing questions!

Good luck!

going to revise for this 5 days before the exam - i've done most of the papers but don't know quite a bit of the content.

Anyone think it's possible to get an A in 5 days with basic knowledge?

There's still ages till the test, why not learn the content that you don't know?

If you're at a ~C standard like you say, you could probably get an A with 5 days revision if the paper is very, very nice.
what board is this for?

I'm starting papers for C3 on Friday/ Saturday and I plan on doing 25

Edit: Rather than neg me, tell me what I said wrong?

Edit 2: fight me irl, not url.

Yes, it's what i'm basically doing.
25th? I've got my mechanics then, my core 3 is on the 23rd (OCR)?

Ahh I'm hoping to get an A or B at the very minimum...revision has been excruciating :frown:

j
for edexcel core 3 is on 25th and M1 on the 23rd
I'm also aiming for an A (A* in c3) and minimum a B in M1 and hopefully extra UMS can ensure I still get an A overall.

so who feels comfortable with this exam?

nowhere near yet :colondollar:
only thing i can say im struggling with, is in what situation would i use the factor formulae e.g. sinP + SinQ = 2sin(P+Q/2)cos(P-Q/2) ?? like it hardly comes up in exams, which means i don't get any practice on it on exam papers ... need help with it !
Does anyone know whic formulas we need to be able to derive.. like in C2 we had that Sn thing.... ? So which formulas do we need to show the proof of in the C3 exam?

Thank you for any help

You can find out undefined regions by setting the bottom of a fraction equal to 0, and whatever the value of x is is the undefined part, other than that I think that it is just using a graph...

Is there any chance you can find an example of this? I'm awful at finding range/domain and not quite sure what you mean :frown:
