I did the A2 Maths a year early, hence the A* prediction. I was only 1% off an A* which is very annoying. Other than that, I am very happy!

Physics B (predicted A)

Firm: Imperial College (AAA)
Insurance: Sheffield (AAB)

I have been super lucky as although I missed my grades for imperial I was still accepted, which I never would have expected them to do. B was down to a u in my practical which kind of sucks and was unexpected. I feel very lucky and am over the moon that I am still able to go to imperial :biggrin:

Predicted by Teachers (my prediction)

Law -C, B if I worked hard (after exam D)
Sociology - B (B)
Psychology - B (A)
English Language - A (after exam C)

Got
Law -A
Sociology- A
Psychology -A
English Language - B

Comments
Really surprised with law as that was the subject I was going to drop (not so sure now). Quite disappointed with English Language but I messed up on the paper as I only planned to do 1 category. Might have to re-sit to aim for an A.

Subject: AS Classical Civilisation predicted B / achieved A
Subject: AS History predicted B/ achieved A
Subject: AS Latin predicted C (but really thought i'd gotten a B)/ achieved B
Subject: AS English literature predicted B/ achieved B (getting remark as only a few marks off a B)

Comments and reactions
so happy with history and class civ as got near full marks on both which was really unexpected, hope my B goes up to an A in english so fingers crossed and so dissappointed with latin as did way better in lit module than expected but dissappointed and surprised with the D in my language paper as thought i'd done better. overall could have gone better.
My AS grades:
Benchmark Grades: Cs in all subjects

Grades 1 (2/3)
Key:
1= Actual
2= 1st Module
3= 2nd Module
* for Full Marks in any module

Geography: A (A/A*)
History: A (A*/B)
Government and Politics: A (A/A)
Chemistry: E (E/C/U)
Critical Thinking: C (A/E)

Comment:
I think this proves Benchmarks fail. How the hell do I manage an A in one Crit Thinking and an E in the other - There is no real skill involved! Woop over Geo, Hist and Politics - and am still in reach of an A star with all of them. Just need those 90% next year.

Wanna guess what I'm dropping :wink:

Taking a gap year and re-applying; hopefully receive an unconditional from LSE (got rejected by them this cycle). Obviously extremely pleased with what I've achieved.

Drama and Theatre Studies: Predicted B/ Achieved C

Comments: I'm quite shocked that I actually managed to get an A in english considering I haven't even been able to achieve anything near that grade before. So I'm very pleased, just a little bit disappointed by Drama, I might have to retake the written paper again.

Maths - A/B | A
Bio - A | A
Chem - A | A

Comments: Surprised and happy. Happy with UMS as well as grades unlike January. D1 and physics were my weaknesses and worked my arse off which I'm glad I did :smile:
