Nottingham Skate Scene?

Hi Guys, i'm very much into skateboarding/aggressive inline skating and I was wondering what the scene is like in Notts?

I'm coming from manchester where we have a lot of different parks; both indoor and outdoor, a few decent skate shops and some good street spots...

How is Nottingham for us skaters?

There's a few decent skate shops in the city centre, and an Elements branch for standard stuff.

In October a brand new indoor skate park opened near Meadow Lane which is pretty decent - http://www.flo-skateparks.co.uk/

There's lots of skating hotspots on the outskirts of the city centre and some of the student-dense living areas. Having not skated since high school I can't comment much on how good the scene is mind!
