Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

BSc Computer Science, OU-->University

Hi,

I am not sure I will gain enough points from my A-Levels to do the the BSc Computer Science course at my chosen university.

I do not want to spend another year at college, so I thought I could do a relevant course with the OU and then goto university the next year (maybe straight into the second year).

So, has anyone here done anything similar or got any useful info for me?

Which university is that? They might still take you even if you don't meet the conditions of their offer.

Salford was my first choice, then Huddersfield as my backup. I know they still might take me but I just want an alternative just incase.

Actually, the idea of doing a course with the OU then joining the second year of the course at Salford sounds alot more appealing to me the more I think about it...
