Adult Nursing App. Fast track A Level needed?

Hi,

I'm 28 so obviously a mature student, the last time I filled in a UCAS app was 10 years ago and I now realise I had a lot of help from my tutor.

I received 10 GCSE's grades B and C, including Maths, Science and English so I'm all covered on that front.

At college I studied Media, film at A Level and received B and C in both A level and AS level and a city and guilds diploma with a pass.

I'm looking to study adult nursing, eventually working as a mental health nurse.

I assume that I won't be accepted onto a course as I don't have a health care background and have been working as a fraud analyst so I have no experience.

I've been told by one uni I need to do an access course an other that I have to do a fast track a level.

Can anyone shed any light on what I need to do?? Thank you in advance!!!
