I emailed the university regarding this matter as I too have a B at GCSE, they advised I retook it. I retook it in November, waiting for my results to come through.

City or Cass offers are usually AAA ..
I got their acknowledgement email just 1 day after submitting my application

I don't do A Levels, I have an international qualification (from Germany), which is pretty much equal to AAA though..
And well, I haven't received an offer yet, it was just an acknowedgement email from Cass
