Girls - wardrobe essentials? :)

Obviously, everyone has a different style, but what items can't you live without in your wardrobe?

Am starting a fashion blog and want to do an article on this... my friends have said everything from T-shirts to black stilettos. What do you reckon a perfect "capsule wardrobe" (with everything you need but no more) would look like? :smile:

I'm trying to cut it down to the absolute essentials (say, if someone were on a budget and could only buy about 10 to 15 things, what would they get that they could combine for a nice outfit day or night?) Stuff like black stilettos, skinny jeans, that sort of thing. I'm not sure what most consider "essential" though :smile:

White is too school girl. A good black shirt is great as you can dress it up formally or wear it casually - either way it's good!

Rick coloured jumpers: red, gold etc
Black leggings
Long top
Decent flats
Decent boots
Thick winter coat
Thin rain coat

Scarf
And a bunch of scarves

Leggings, black skirts (one tight, one skater), a dress or two, singlets (black, white and coloured, loose and tight), jeans, denim shorts, cardigans, a jacket, flats sandals, boots, some loose fitting shirts and some tight fitting shirts.

For me, dresses, a pencil skirt and some V neck jumpers. I have a very elegant sophisticated style and I love my pencil skirts. Apart from for gym/sleeping in I on't actually own any tshirts :teehee:
