Media is regarded as a very weak subject and if you are aiming for something as heavyweight and competitive as Law, then its not a wise choice. Surprisingly, Law at A level is not seen as any advantage when applying for Law at Uni - because it covers the subject in such a superficial manner, and therefore doesnt actually provide you with any meaningful base for degree level study.
English and History are definitely good subjects for Law - only because they are traditional, literate subjects. If you can add something like Politics or Sociology or a language instead of Media studies or even a Maths or science subject that will be good.
Media is seen as softer and for law, universities prefer students to take broader subjects (some of them even blacklist law a levels) so it would probably be better to take either something like geography or a foreign language
History and English literature are good subjects though (I'm assuming by English you mean English lit or the combined English a level, not English Lang; English language is a softer subject than lit)
I would do Politics and Philosophy instead of Law but it doesn't matter as long as you meet the entry requirements. Look at what some uni's want, this will give you a good idea.
However, it is important to do subjects that you enjoy as you are more likely to do well in them. Media may provide a bit of respite after all of them essay heavy subjects.
