Careers To Do With History

Hi, so right now I'm aspiring to be a History lecturer, but there's loads of people telling me otherwise. They say there's a small job market for lecturers and there's no job security etc...Is this true? I just thought good old public opinion will help is all :smile:

Ignore the silly suggestions above.

History graduates end up in all possible careers. They are employed because of their trained brains and higher level thinking skills, not because of their subject knowledge so, no, they don't all end working in museums.

Most graduate level jobs love Historians. Most jobs do not need a specific degree, but regard Historians highly.
