Student Cards

Does anyone know about student cards? Can I get one during A-levels or is it only at uni? Are they worth it? And how can i find out about them? Thanks

Well that's the only answer really! I believe there is an UCAS card, i wasn't offered one but the year below was... so not too sure! Once your at Uni your student card will be your NUS card... but for now i think it's only the NUS card that will get you the discounts!! :smile:

Plus £1.20 off in the local cinema. :biggrin:

You can actually get them in any type of futher education establishment (sixth forms and tertiary included.)

You can get them now but unless your at Uni, you have to pay for them. I think it was about £12 at my school- varies. When you get to Uni, your student card doubles up as an NUS card so if your a cheapskate like me, I waited! :p:

Guys, you were all sold out by NUS management at national conference. Next year you'll have to pay for discount cards, but can still get NUS democracy cards for free, but you don't get any discounts on them.
