4 years is about right I suppose. Gives us at least 3 years before having to worry about extending again although I guess other clubs can always just buy out his contract.

I think 4 years is perfect
It isn't massively overboard like pardew's, so if something terrible happened, there wouldn't be massive compensation.
But it's long enough to ensure loyalty o the club.
He deserves much more money though in my opinion.
