Do people still use hipflasks for clubbing?

I just wondered, a lot of very old forum topics that suggest it have debunked the use, stating its very easy to get it confiscated. But I've seen them used a couple of times clubbing, they seemed quite difficult to get confiscated.... Since its so packed, and its such a small container.

Any advice? and what volume container is best for clubbing? 6 oz?

I would imagine it is used a reasonable amount, although I have no idea the cost of mixers / if staff would get suspicious if you just order lemonade/etc but appear to be getting drunk anyway.

If you get caught with one it' likely the security staff will confiscate it and possibly throw you out as well.

I don't intend on buying a mixer from the bar... I intend on just putting in straight liquor and using as neccessary in club toilets/smoking areas.
