Real sickener for Oxford.
LOL at the 'Stevenage's year' pre season prediction comments.

Salisbury go joint top of the Conference with Torquay after thrashing Crawley 4-1.

Lewes are still unbeaten in the Conference South along with Fisher Athletic

All the teams in that league have got off the mark.
Surely not another promotion for Salisbury :p: more drama tonight in the live game on Setanta, York stole a late equaliser against Exeter.
Glad York have got off the mark - it's been a tough start for them.

Hopefully  We've been singing 'we are going up' for so long it would be difficult to break the habit
Hope to see Rushden go up this year, they had so much promise back in the days of League 1 football but it's been a downward spiral since then, hopefully the Nene Park faithful won't have to wait to long to get back to where they rightfully belong... the Football League.
Weymouth lost to Burton tonight 2-1 in the live game, decent match.
York may have got off the mark but their performances are shocking.

Just came back from a 2-0 home defeat to Forest Green.

I really don't know what is going on. :frown:

Mitchell Cole out for a while it looks like. Boro' really going to miss him :frown:
Off to watch Stevenage vs Oxford at Broadhall Way tomorrow night.

How are Oxford doing at the moment performance-wise?
From what I can gather from BBC they seem to be doing well for results, but only got a +2 GD.

Should be an interesting game. 2-1 Boro' for me though.

EDIT- Will be sat right above Jim Smith as well, so looking forward to giving him some grief

Oxford are looking quite solid this season, and Jim Smith used his tactical knowledge last Sunday when they beat us 2-1. However, their last minute penalties at home also seem to give them an advantage.

Burton only have 12 players for tomorrows game, unless you count Clough and Martin Taylor as subs who would be very unlikely to last 5 minutes. Luckily we are at home to Farsley Celtic, so just hoping we can do the business like Cambridge did last week.

Also looking forward to some Steve Evans bashing when we go to Crawley on saturday. Burton fans in particular have a strong hatred for the criminal after he branded us a pub team before we beat his Boston side in an FA Cup replay. We responded with 'you'll never beat the pub team'. The look on his face was priceless!
Lewes are top of the Conference South after today's thrashing of Bognor Regis Town

Salisbury remain unbeaten and maintain a 100% home record after dispatching Woking 2-1
OH WOW.... there's going to be a link on LiveFooty for the Boro', Oxford game.

(And for those that don't use LiveFooty - look it up on google - worth using).
Burton still won with only 12 fit players. Stevenage Boro coming up soon on Setanta.
Another poor start for Hitchin! Two broken legs already! If we can just finish in the playoffs it will be a successful campaign, especially with the squad we have this season.
Think Hitchin will do better than Bedford Town.
Doubt it, we're awful nowadays.
So are Bedford, they lost half their players to lower league clubs because they were offered more money.
