Keele Medical School vs Bristol Medical School

Hey,

I have an offer for medicine (undergraduate) from both Keele and Bristol University, but am currently struggling to choose between the two - I have to decide by June. I’m swaying towards keele - the course seems brilliant and the campus looks pretty nice too.

Does anybody have any experience of these universities, particularly for medicine? If so, what are the best and worst things about it?

Bristol's got more history and prestige associated with it, but honestly Keele is quite new and nice. You can't really go wrong, good luck.

I'm at Keele doing medicine and as a graduate have had quite a few friends go to Bristol. Obviously Bristol is a huge city whereas Keele is a campus uni. Keele course is fantastic, you get a tonne of support, its a small cohort so you get to know everyone and the hospitals are good. However if you wanna go out 3x a week Bristol is probably a better option! Hope this help x
