What to continue to A2

Hey guys, I'd really appreciate your help. For year 12 I took Geography, Photography, English literature, and Biology. The grades I got were BBCD which I am happy with. However I want to drop English and continue biology which I got a D in as I need it. After taking a gap year I plan on going to university in Ireland to study Environmental/earth science. My D was a very low one so I'd really appreciate some advice, even in general on how to improve next year.

Many Thanks

Those grades definitely aren't the end of the world. I got CDDU at AS in psych, bio, chem and English language.
I was absolutely devastated, so I think that gave me the kick I needed. I managed to move my AS bio grade from a D to an A (BBB overall at A2).
And I'm now going to do chemistry at uni in September.

I find that the best way to work hard and revise is to just not stop doing past papers. Those are the questions you're going to be asked, so learn them. Me and my friends would quiz each other on harder questions until we got it. I didn't do as much of that first year so that's all I can put my grades down to.

Hard work is key and all that jazz.
