Secondary Hyperhidrosis
Hey,
For the most part of my life I've suffered with excessive sweating. (most prominently from my armpits)
I've recently been to the doctors who diagnosed me with 'Secondary
Hyperhidrosis'. (Fancy name for excessive sweating)
The reason it's 'Secondary' is because she believes it's linked to my diabetes. I've been a type 1 diabetic for 11 years.
Anyway, the doc prescribed me with 'Anhydrol Forte' which is a roll on medication containing aluminium chloride which blocks the sweat glands and consequently stops or minimises how much you sweat.
I'm curious as to whether anyone else has Hyperhidrosis (excessively sweats) and what things you've tried to prevent yourself from sweating? Or whether you've tried what I'm now on and if so has it worked?
